Corporate Clicker ("the site", "we") is a free browser game available at corporateclicker.com. This policy explains what data is involved when you play, which is mercifully little.

What we collect directly

Nothing. The site has no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms, and no database. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, or any other personal information to our servers.

Game saves (local storage)

Your game progress (career choice, resources, upgrades, equity, and run records) is saved using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. You can erase it at any time using the "Quit and start over" button in the game, or by clearing your browser's site data for corporateclicker.com.

Advertising

The site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, which may be personalised based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Hosting and technical logs

The site is served by our hosting provider, which (like all web hosts) may automatically process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver the site and protect against abuse. We do not access or use these logs to identify visitors.

Third-party links

The site links to third-party services, including Ko-fi (for optional tips) and social platforms (if you choose to share the game). Those services have their own privacy policies, and anything you do there is between you and them. Tipping via Ko-fi is handled entirely by Ko-fi and its payment processors; we never see your payment details.

Children

The site is a workplace satire aimed at adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included, because we do not collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If the site's data practices change (for example, if analytics or new ad partners are added), this page will be updated and the date above revised.
